Summer runs at Parkside will happen on Wednesdays and Sundays beginning June 6 thru August 8. Wednesdays at 5:30 PM and Sundays at 3 PM. Any and all are welcome.
All incoming 9th graders and International students need Form [B] below. These must be turned in to the Athletic Office before your first practice. You cannot practice or participate until this has been done.
Shoreland Lutheran placed 5 girls on recently released All-Metro Classic teams as reported by the Kenosha News.
Leading the way were three first-team picks from Shoreland -- seniors Rebekah Koestler (second base) and Marlo Kramer (outfield) and junior Kelsey Hill (pitcher).
Hill, a first-team pick for the second straight season, batted .350 (21-for-60), with 22 runs, 14 RBI and 5 stolen bases. As a pitcher, she was 12-5, with a 1.68 earned run average and 151 strikeouts in 96 innings.
Koestler batted .418 (28-for-67), with 30 runs scored, 27 RBI and 7 stolen bases, while Kramer batted .441 (30-for-68), with 23 runs, 25 RBI and 4 stolen bases.
Sophomore Emily Jones was named to the second team and honorable mention went to sophomore Victoria Miller.
Both the boys' team and the girls' team took 1st place at the Metro Classic Conference Meet held May 16. Shoreland boys picked up MCC titles in the 3,200 relay (9:09.11) and from Kaleb Tindall in the shot put (50-2). Girls' MCC titles were won by Angelina Innamorato in the 200 (27.26) and the 3,200 meter relay (11:06.62). The long jump (16-4¾) was won by Rebekah Salfer. Congratulations to all our Pacers!!
Congratulations to Kaleb Tindall - owner of a brand new school record in the shot put! At the state indoor on Saturday, Kaleb broke one of the oldest SL track records, a 1981 record held by Jerry Lueneberg of 48’ 10”. Kaleb tossed the shot a tremendous 50’ 5.5”!!! Nice work, Kaleb.
