While the 2018 season has come to a close on the field, we still have some things we need to take care of this week. Today (Monday) we will collect all of the equipment and clean out the two storage trailers that are out by the field. Parents, please make sure your son brings everything back that he was given at the beginning of the season including helmet, shoulder pads, practice jerseys, practice pants, belt, knee pads, thigh pads, hip and tailbone pads (if he didn't have a girdle), girdle (if we gave him one), and any other item that may have found its way to your house but needs to come back to Shoreland. I would also recommend that your son wear some warmer clothes that he doesn't mind getting a little dirty Monday as cleaning up all of the equipment that is outside will be a messier, muddier job than usual thanks to the fun we had the last week of practice. We should be all done with everything tomorrow by 5:15pm at the latest.
Tuesday we will have our post-season speed and strength testing so we can measure how each player has grown since August and also help them to set goals for the off-season. They will need running shoes and workout clothes and we will again be done by 5:15pm at the latest.
Thank you for all of your support this season and look for more communication from me in regards to the banquet and other end-of-year type information.
