Reminder from Coach Hueber

I pray you've had an enjoyable long weekend and are ready to start the 2nd quarter of the school year. Please see the reminder below from Joy Strutz about tomorrow night's banquet. Players, if you didn't see my request on Google Classroom, I would like you all to wear a shirt and tie (or bowtie) tomorrow night. Have a blessed week, Run to W.I.N. and Go Pacers!

FOOTBALL BANQUET INFO

The football banquet is Monday, November 1(tomorrow) at 6:00pm in the commons at Shoreland. Spaghetti, chicken, and bread will be provided along with drinks and the plates and silverware. All players, managers, and family members are warmly invited to attend the renewing of this annual tradition.

Freshman and sophomore families are asked to bring a salad of some type.
Junior families are asked to bring a side dish. We ask that your dish is enough for 8-10 people.
Senior families are asked to bring a dessert.

Junior parents are asked to be there between 5:15- 5:30 to help set-up and serve the meal.
Freshman and sophomore parents are asked to help clean up when the banquet is over.

END OF SEASON COMMENTS - Oct 18-24

Here is a link to this week's Pacer FB News and Notes. Some items to highlight as we wrap up our fall season:

JV game at Lake Country Lutheran tomorrow, Monday, October 18th. Bus leaves Shoreland at 3:30pm. All freshmen and sophomores will suit up and play as will the handful of juniors who have been helping out with the JV the last several weeks.
Tuesday is equipment return / clean up day and we will celebrate the close of our season with a final team dinner at Golden Corral in Kenosha that evening.
Our football banquet will be held on Monday, November 1st and you can look for more information and a way to RSVP to be in your email inbox soon.
Players, I will send out a sign-up form for exit interviews so please check your email and Google Classroom for that form soon.
Jr. Pacer families, I know Coach Sittig will be at Shoreland next Sunday afternoon to collect equipment between 2pm and 4pm. If you'd prefer to come to the Open House that evening between 6pm and 8pm instead, you can drop off your equipment with me at the same time. Shoot me an email if you're interested and I'll share details on how to register for the Open House.

Monday is Labor Day and there is no school but we still have practice scheduled at 6:00pm. If you're traveling this weekend, the late start time should allow your son to be back in time for practice.
Our JV plays on Tuesday afternoon at St. Thomas More. The address is linked in the document and the game field they use for JV is on their campus.
